Moeen Ali took hat trick as England beat South Africa in Third Test match:

Moeen Ali’s first hat-trick guided England to accomplish 239 runs win over South Africa in Third Test at The Oval.  It is England’s second win in four match Test series & they are now leading the Test series 2-1. England will play the fourth & final Test against South Africa at Old Trafford on Friday.

Moeen Ali finished the match when he took a historical hat-trick that dismissed the last 3 batsmen. Moeen Ali became the first England spinner in 79 years who took hat-trick in a Test match.

South Africa began the fifth day on 117-4 while they had to chase a big winning total of 492. The Proteas collapsed for 252 on the last day of the 100th Test match at The Oval.

In South Africa second innings, Elgar accomplished 136, shared 108 runs partnership with Bavuma (32) after South Africa had 4 gone for 52 on the fourth day of third Test match.

Toby Roland-Jones ripped South Africa once again when he took 2 wickets in 2 balls before lunch on day five & the unlucky batsmen Bavuma & Philander had to go to pavilion.

Then Morris fell on the last ball just before lunch in Moeen’s bowling, South Africa were 205-7.

It was an unforgettable match for Ben Stokes who showed all-round performance. Stokes made 112 in first innings & took 2 wickets in 2 deliveries on fourth day of third Test match.

England were consistent even in the second innings as they declared the innings on 313-8 with best batting figures include Bairstow (63), Westley (59) & Root (50) while best bowling figures from South Africa include Maharaj (3-50).

South Africa made 252 in their second innings with Elgar (136) & the best bowling figures from England include Moeen Ali (4-45) & Roland-Jones (3-72).
