Ashwin will play his 50th test match against Sri Lanka at Galle:

Ashwin will complete his fiftieth Test match against Sri Lanka & this will
be a big test for him apart from his wonderful bowling, he has not set any new
goals but rather learning from his past.
He
said that earlier in his career, he set new goals for himself but now he does
not want to put any new target that is because he learnt a good lesson from his
past. He further told that you cannot get ahead of yourself & you cannot
really set milestones on a realistic note.
He
added that it is crucial to get better each passing day as playing for the team
on international level can be very unkind.
Ashwin
has done a lot for India in all formats including Test, ODI & T20. He is
becoming a legend for his team & the off spinner said that the fifty Test
matches is not a mean milestone but he cannot repeat how he accomplished it.
Ashwin
has taken 275 wickets in 49 Tests matches think now that fiftieth match puts
him in good stead.
He
said that the fiftieth Test match is not a milestone for him but he cannot
repeat how he accomplished it. He is happy to play for his team & every
test match is a blessing for him.
Ashwin
can bowl extremely well on Sri Lankan pitches & he had also taken 10 wicket
haul at Galle in 2015 during Sri Lanka tour.

Ashwin told that he will be starting on the
same ground where he took 10 wicket haul & it’s like a dream come true. He
had a comeback with wonderful 10 wicket haul. Ashwin has taken twenty seven 5
wicket haul & seven 10 wicket hauls so far in his bowling career.
He
is not sure how many more test matches he will play in his career but the ride
has set him in a good stead.
Everything
he has faced so far has increased his cricketing knowledge. It is very
important for him from the game perspective. He said that 50 Tests matches have
set him in a good stead & he is not sure how many more matches he will play
for his team.
Players
like Ashwin have made efforts & he has really shaped his bowling for future
tours. He is quick wicket taker for India who can be the leading wicket taker
if he plays 50 more or less matches for his team. His passion for bowling
cannot be denied & he is a calm bowler who is focusing more on his bowling
rather than verbal communication. He has got a good record after Anil Kumble
& Harbhajan Singh & he has done remarkable accomplishment for his team.
