Pakistan beat West Indies in first Test

Yasir Shah took 6 wickets to damage the hosts in the 2nd innings as Pakistan beat West Indies by 7 wickets on the final day of the 1st Test on Tuesday.

West Indies was trailing by 121 runs in first innings, & the entire team was dismissed for 152 runs.

Pakistan completed the chase after losing three early wickets and it was left to Misbah-ul-Haq to conclude the test match.

Yasir Shah was the man who damaged the West Indies in the second innings as Amir was dominant at the beginning of the test match. He completed his 5 wicket haul after bowling unchanged from one end throughout the morning.

Yasir Shah received the player of the match award and he spoke few words about regaining confidence in West Indies after having tough time against Australia.

He told that the rough spots on the pitch were helpful to him & he wish that he can carry on such performance in the remaining test matches too.

Yasir Shah did not show the same performance as Amir bowled well at the start of the test match but he came back very strong.

Holder said a few words after the conclusion of the test match that he wanted to see some improvement in young cricketers at the top of the line-up.


He further told that his bowlers tried hard to restrict Pakistan but there were a number of chances given to opponents in the field that changed the whole story.
