South Africa beat Sri Lanka in 2nd ODI at Durban:

South Africa beat Sri Lanka by 121 runs to win the second ODI at Durban. AB de Villiers & his team performed exceptionally well after they lost four early wickets & lead the 5 match ODI series 2-0. 

After 4 early wicket there is a huge stand between Faf du Plessis & David Miller who both hit tons & put 307 runs on the board for the loss of 6 wickets.

Du Plessis 105 & Miller unbeaten 117 after South Africa had 4 dismissed for 108 & the two centuries between Du Plessis & Miller changed the whole story.

On the other hand South Africa bowled & field well & the fielders seem more energetic after putting a grand total & they bowled out Sri Lanka for only 186 runs.

Although Sri Lanka made a clean start for the opening stand of 45 in just 46 balls between Niroshan Dickwella and Upul Tharanga. After a dangerous opening partnership, both the openers were caught by Faf Du Plessis & AB De Villiers.

Faf Du Plessis is celebrating after scoring hundred against Sri Lanka in Durban. Du Plessis & Miller lift South Africa from 108-4 to 307-6.

Ab De Villiers told that Sri Lanka openers made a good start in the first ten overs but South Africa bowlers performed really well & they took crucial wickets at important times.

Sri Lanka captain Tharanga said the batsmen were dismissed for twenties & thirties but nobody played a big inning. He further said the partnership b/w Faf & Miller changed the whole theme. The team took 4 early breakthroughs but Faf & Miller had a really good partnership. He said if a single of his batsmen had made a ton may be they could have beaten South Africa.

AB De Villiers told that the team worked really hard for not allowing chances to the opponent in the field after missed chances let them down & they lost a recent Twenty20 series against Sri Lanka.
He said the team cannot get several opportunities in one day internationals & twenty20 cricket.

Due to Du Plessis, South Africa scored runs at a fast rate despite the team lost 4 wickets cheaply, with none of them able to reach twenty.

Miller at first reined in his usual hitting impulses as he & Faf made stable progress next to a range of precise slow & slow medium bowlers.

Sri Lanka finally made their fifth breakthrough after Faf was caught after facing one hundred & twenty balls & hitting seven boundaries & one six.

Millers & Morris made another strong partnership of sixty off forty three balls & he concluded the innings powerfully, reaching his ton in the last over & celebrating with two sixes & one boundary.

Miller hits 6 sixes & 3 fours in 98 balls.
