Pollard & Starc Fight in IPL 7, Season 2014.
IPL 27th Match was played b/w Royal Challengers Bangalore & Mumbai Indians on Tuesday. During Mumbai Indians batting in 17th over there started a fight between Kieron Pollard & Mitchell Starc. There started heated conversation between Pollard & Starc on 4th delivery bolwed by Starc. It was a bouncer & Starc had some words after but Pollard showed him by hand to go away. Starc was running in to bowl the 5th delivery, Pollard's attention was diverted due to surroundings & he wasn't ready for the ball so he stepped back but Starc still shot the ball at Pollard. Pollard in reaction tossed the bat at Mitchell Starc but luckily bat slipped out of Pollard's hand & dropped close to him. Virat Kohli started walking towards umpire to talk about Pollard's reaction but Pollard rushed towards umpire before RCB captain & started complaining in order to spread the condition. Both umpires had a chat with Virat Kohli to clear out the matter. On the next ball bowled by Mitchell Starc, Kieron Pollard hit 2 runs & on 6th ball of Mitchel Starc, Pollard replied with a boundary. In last over bowled by Starc there was some confusion & trouble between both batsmen Rohit Sharma & Kieron Pollard while taking run. Aussie pacer Mitchell Starc got the ball & he clipped the bails so Pollard got run out. After being run out by Mitchel Starc West Indian All-Rounder Kieron Pollard suddenly got upset & angry and kicked the pitch later on went to Pavilion.
It was poor example of professionalism, both players mis behaved and should be punished. Starc shouldn't have crossed limits and provoked pollard. hopefully youngsters and other players would learn from the outcome and won't do it through out their career.
