Pakistan star all rounder went to see former COAS and president of Pakistan, Pervaiz Musharraf on Friday, 2 May 2014 in Karachi. Musharraf is not doing good and his mother is sick as well, she is under treatment in Sharjah. Pakistan government rejected Musharraf request to go over seas and see his mother, however he is allowed to do his own treatment any where in Pakistan. Musharraf is in Karachi these days, and Shahid Afridi went to see him to inquire his health and asked about his mother's health. Afridi said one should not stay in contact in good times, they should also support others in bad times.

Shahid Afridi has a valid point that one should not just stay in touch in good times; they should also support others when they are going through rough patches of life.
Nicely said by Afridi, a true friend and noble person is that who stay connected with others in bad times. he set an example for others. hopefully Musharraf and his mother gets proper treatment and gain health once again.
