Mumbai Indians have been given a chance to use Lendi Simmons in place of Jalaj Saxena permitted by technical committee of IPL 7, Season 2014.
Lendi Simmons joined Mumbai Indians in IPL 2014
"The IPL Event Technical Committee has approved Lendl Simmons as a replacement player for Jalaj Saxena for the remainder of the Pepsi IPL 2014 season. Simmons is eligible to play for Mumbai Indians with immediate effect," released on IPL Official Website.
Expectedly Lendi Simmons will debut as an Opener in upcoming matches of IPL 2014. Mumbai Indians, who are defending Champions of IPL, have lost all 5 matches played in this season of IPL 2014. Lendi Simmons can make the team back in form if introduced earlier in IPL 7.
