Salman Butt, former Pakistan cricket team captain has said that PCB should treat all banned players equally and fight for their come back to domestic and international cricket. ICC will announce all amendments in ICC anti corruption laws and clauses in July this year. Mohammad Amir went pleaded guilty for his offence and went through rehabilitation program. PCB lawyer in UK has said that Mohammad Amir's case looks really strong while Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif case doesn't. Salman Butt told media in Lahore, "Pakistan does need Amir and I wish him all the best, but I think other players should also get similar treatment".

Salman Butt contact PCB for rehabilitation programs more than 10 times but never got any positive reply, he wanted to go through rehab and make his case stronger so can come back to cricket world again. Butt said, "people do make mistakes, but once they serve their punishments they should be given a chance to revive their lives".
Salman Butt should be Life banned and shouldn't be allowed to play domestic and international cricket so that other players learn a good lesson not to do match or spot fixing in their careers. Salman butt and Mohammad Asif not only did fixing themselves but involved a talented youngster Mohammad Amir in spot fixing who was really well for his team.
ReplyDeleteSethi in replied to Salman Butt's comment said that PCB was supporting the young fast bowler after consulting with top lawyers in the UK. Which advised only in favour of Mohammad Amir because of various reasons. Amir was only 18 at that time, so he had received sympathy, plus he was the first person to plead guilty. He did cooperation with ICC and did his rehab on time.
