Moin Khan has been appointed chief selector and manager of Pakistan cricket team. Moin Khan has been head coach of Pakistan team for a while. Since Rashid Latif rejected job of chief selector, PCB start hunting for candidates to take head coach and chief selector jobs. Position for head of selection committee had been vacant for almost 10 months now, and there was a need to hire some one as soon as possible. Moin has been Najam Sethi's favourite since start and he has been enjoying some really good jobs under Sethi's chairmanship. Pakistan Cricket Board has been a victim of uncertainties for a while, a lot of changes have been occurring at fast pace which is not good for stability of board and especially cricket team. There are some rumours that Waqar Younis is strong candidate for head coach job and will most probably get it soon.
