Pakistan Cricket Board chairman Najam Sethi said that Pakistan missed out opportunity to become Big 4. India supported Pakistan and Big 3 offered Pakistan to be part of it and who knows it could be Big four right now, but those talks were not pursued and we lost opportunity to have say in ICC matters. Big three got 9 votes out of 10 and got full control of ICC world, However, Pakistan abstained from voting in ICC board meeting.
India proposed Pakistan to be part of Big Four
Sethi said, "Pakistan is now left with nothing". “Now, no one is willing to give us anything, particularly India. And it
was India that had made us that offer. Until and unless we play with
India, we won’t make any money. If we don’t make any money our domestic
system will suffer. Everyone is toeing India’s line because playing with
India makes you money.” DAWN
Former chairman Zaka Ashraf was removed because of "mishandling Pakistan’s case in the recent changes brought in the ICC.”

Sethi said well, Pakistan should have signed that agreement for their own benefit. They tried their best for Revival of Cricket in Pakistan & tried to start their own league with the name of Pakistan Super League (PSL) but foreigner players were not issued license to play in Pakistan & everything went in vein. This was the only hope of revival of cricket in pakistan but poor Zaka Ashraf lost on table. Also they had a benefit to end Amir ban and his revivial in Cricket
