Saeed Ajmal and Sohail Tanvir are the big picks by franchises in Caribbean Premier League. Apart from them, Mohammad Hafeez will be representing Guyana, Ahmed Shehzad (Jamaica Tallawahs), Nasir Jamshed (Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel), Imran Nazir and Shoaib Malik (Barbados Tridents). Saeed Ajmal will join Antigua Hawksbills for the first time in CPL.
Kevin Pieterson and Shahid Afridi were supposed to be the top pick on the first day of auction. Kevin Pieterson was signed by St. Lucia while Shahid Afridi was not drafted by any franchise. It was a big surprise when Afridi was ignored by franchises while Corey Anderson (fastest century in ODI record holder) was picked ahead of Boom Boom.

Its hard to tell if Shahid Afridi is going to perform well with either bat or ball. I think that's why franchises do not want to risk their money. Kevin Pietersen is a good buy....
