ICC is planning to do an amendment to its anti corruption code in June, 2014. Players who got banned from cricket for long time might be able to resume their international career a bit quicker now. This change won't be applied just to some specific individual, it can be any cricketer who is banned right now or might get banned in future. The idea is to allow them to play some domestic cricket before banned expires so they can can have enough practice to return to competitive cricket straight after expiry of their ban.
Three of Pakistani cricketers Mohammad Amir, Salman Butt and Mohammad Asif got banned while team toured England in 2010. Since then PCB had been in touch with ICC for some relaxation over Mohammad Amir case so he can utilize PCB facilities for training. These changes might help banned players in future...
